Brown Fashion Week

I was recently contacted by Sasha Pinto, President of the premier fashion organization at Brown University. Brown’s oldest incubator of style on campus and point of interaction with creatives and leaders in the world of fashion at large.

Fashion@Brown is comprised of 120 dedicated fashion aficionados, including designers, photographers, writers, marketers, and social media gurus who work together to celebrate Brown student talent and style, harnessing the wisdom of our education to inform ourselves and the community about the fashion industry, with a special emphasis on sustainability.

F@B strives to engage and unite fashion-oriented minds on campus through editorial and social media content, workshops, lectures, photo shoots, and guest speakers.

The culmination of F@B’s year is Brown Fashion Week, Distinguished Speaker Series, and Runway Show. The show features collections from Brown and RISD student designers, modeled on Brown and RISD models. And the Distinguished Speaker Series is composed of conversations and talks by fashion industry leaders who enthuse and educate not only F@B members, but the entire Brown student body in attendance.

fashion@brown is a student-run organization dedicated to bringing fashion to the brown community since 2010.

Join F@B for conversations and panel discussions between F@B student moderators and fashion’s most influential and inspirational leaders from all walks of the industry. From March 4 – March 26, F@B will be hosting a series of live-streamed conversations with business, editorial, film, social media, and runway leaders who will discuss their journeys to success and more.
