CultureCon Atlanta

This past weekend, The Creative Collective NYC kicked off their three city tour of CultureCon, the fastest-growing conference for multicultural creatives, in Atlanta with heavy hitters Jay Ellis, Stacey Abrams,  Kandi Burruss,  Saucy Santana, Jayda Cheaves and more dropped some major gems on the stage.

The mixture of politics, entertainment, fashion and pop culture goes to show, not only, the reach of Atlanta as one of the nation’s great culture capitals, but also how the CultureCon conference is the place to be for creatives of color who want to find themselves in brave spaces with like-minded visionaries. CultureCon Atlanta was a reminder to all who create culture, to take their credit. CultureCon is the fastest-growing conference for multicultural creatives and the summit known for tapping some of Hollywood’s biggest and emerging stars. This was the first-ever three-city tour, kicked-off in Atlanta from May 2nd-7th, 2022. The six-day CultureCon ATL conference was jam-packed with programming heavy hitters partners like Twitter, HBO Max, Netflix, Foot Locker, and Pinterest and many more. Most impressive – is the story of CultureCon. The Creative Collective NYC, which was born in 2016 in Founder’s Imani Ellis’s one-bedroom apartment in Harlem with 10 friends who shared a vision Since the event’s first year in New York City’s Meatpacking District, such stars as Spike Lee, John Legend, Sanaa Lathan, Tracee Ellis Ross, Regina King, and Kofi Siriboe have graced its stage.

The Creative Collective NYC propelled its mission to create spaces where creatives of color can be seen and provide resources that lead to unprecedented access and economic freedom with the launch of CultureCon in 2019, the fastest-growing conference for creatives and changemakers of color who plan to elevate their social network and make a real mark on culture. To keep the focus on creating a community for multicultural creatives and expand connections, CultureCon celebrates the diverse voices that have made an impact on culture by honoring notable influencers, industry trailblazers, tastemakers and celebrities.
