Inaugural La Fête du Rosé

Where do I start? Atlanta’s inaugural Rosé Picnic was a dream. The event promised tons of Instagram worthy photo ops, plenty of champagne and delicious food vendors. It didn’t disappoint. This was the first ever Picnic, so a few kinks were to be expected. Long lines didn’t stop everyone from having a really good time. The DJ sets kept everyone dancing- like, the entire time. I can’t remember the last time I’d been to an event with a solid playlist. Kudos to DJ Stormy and DJ Babey Drew!

The event was held outdoors at Atlanta’s Historic Fourth Ward Park. The Park is directly across the street from an Atlanta favorite, Ponce City Market. That made parking a complete nightmare, but if you’ve ever been anywhere in Atlanta, you should know to grab an Uber or Lyft. Rideshare for the win!

There was pink and white for as far as my eyes could see. When I first entered the Park, there was a tent with livestream footage of the Derby. I was expecting something a bit more festive and crowded- all of the action was closer to the main stage. The lawn was filled with giant jenga, life size chess and pink and white checkers. Perfect. And of course, no Rosé event would be complete without one (or four) floral walls. There were two in the general admission area and two in VIP. A bloggers dream!

The VIP section had it’s own bar, couch areas, tables and a red carpet.

The weather held off until the very end so everyone really got the chance to enjoy the event. I look forward to a bigger and better Picnic next year!

One of my favorite parts of the day was the live art installation by @letsgopaint

I’m looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year!
