INFINITE KUSAMA

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to preview the Yayoi Kusama exhibit at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. I’ve been trying to see these installations for years (literally). In 2016, I went to the Broad Museum (LA) and stood in line for TWO HOURS before I literally gave up. I was so excited to see it in Atlanta- it didn’t disappoint. Of course the art work was perfect content for Instagram, but I was really interested in the story of the artist. Yayoi Kusama suffers from schizophrenia and apparently racism. *STALE FACE*. Writing about creativity as a bi-product of mental illness would’ve been so interesting for me. But her comments on black people overshadowed my interest in that. So, I won’t be doing an article on Kusama, but enjoy these amazing photos that my friend Cody took while we were there!
